Book Review : The Rudest Book Ever

Hello Everyone 👋

I'm here with another book review today. It's “The Rudest Book Ever” by Shwetabh Gangwar.

With 17 chapters, this book challenges your perception of ideas in each chapter. The whole purpose of the book is to make you think. The title itself gives you an idea that this is not an ordinary book. The ideas that are talked about seem rude to you, but it totally makes sense when you relate with your life.

From the upbringing of a child, to grown up adults we live our life so differently, confused, with prejudices, biassed, being blind followers. This book shows us the reality of our life, society, our parents, and most importantly our self. So many incidents happen in our lives, and we make them more difficult. If we see incidents with different perspectives our life becomes much easier. The book actually teaches you “How to Think”. It shows you different perspective about failure, rejection, how to deal with weird people, happiness, and knowing yourself first. As author says :

Always remember: the true test of any idea is not its popularity, but how deeply it makes you think.

(Chapter nine. Page no.104)

It happens many times that we become followers when we see someone glamorous, rich, famous, who has achieved something big, whom others are following and who you think are perfect. We don't even think, are they worth following ? But we don't know the real personality of that person. So rather than following them blindly, learn what good skills they have, admire them and their work, and learn that skills.

Besides your emotions, this book makes you a logical thinker. Lastly I would like to site the last paragraph of the book, that says :

“Don't forget, having wrong beliefs is what makes you stupid; it's the right ones that set you free. The only difference is the wrong ones are easily available, and you have to fight for the right ones.”

(Chapter seventeen. Page no.213)

So I would definitely recommend this book, as it sets you free from all wrong beliefs and gives you a new way of looking at life.

Thank you.
